Things You Should Know About Your Accident
Claim
*By law you only need
one estimate from the auto body repair shop of your choice.
*Beware of an
estimate that is extremely low, the use of after market parts(non-OEM) or not including all of the necessary work
can greatly effect price.
*Differences in
repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work.
*Never drive a
vehicle that could be unsafe because of damage. You could have another accident or a get a traffic
citation.
*We can assist you
with your claim and your deductible.
We suggest that you
get a second opinion from a paint and body shop that is NOT affiliated with any Insurance company in order to find
out what the true cost and scope of the repairs is.
Improper repairs can
greatly affect your vehicles safety and value. Although most consumers believe all body shops are the same, this
statement couldn't be further from the truth. Having over 34 years experience, owner Bob Winfrey says "I have
worked at many different facilities, including some insurer approved repair shops (or Preferred Shop" programs -
which are comparable to HMO's) that had allowed many issues (required by manufacturers) to be overlooked. I was
never asked to check one seat belt even though almost all manufacturers recommend checking or replacing them in the
event of a collision".
Some Auto Body shops
are more interested in pushing vehicles through as fast as possible than performing a quality repair. They discount
their labor by completing a high volume of repairs and cutting corners. Insurers love anything that saves them
money. The main reason we opened this facility is so we can focus on Quality and Safety rather than volume. We
don't want you or your loved ones driving a poorly repaired vehicle that may be unsafe.
